If on medical grounds bed rest is recommended, then those certificates are required to be signed by MS/DMS/Civil Surgeon/Director Medical Board or District Health Officer. In the case of prescribed medicines in bed rest, it should be attested from the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan as well.
Documents attested/issued by authorities of provincial, central and local government that are intended to be used abroad are verified & countersigned by MOFA Pakistan. MOFA also verifies the documents of foreign individuals that are intended to be presented in Pakistan.
Ministry does not attest documents that are in any other language than Urdu and English. The MOFA document attestations remain valid forever without the need of re-attestation.
